Topic: "Billing and coding, measures and metrics: A few business basics"

Objectives: At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:

  1. Explain the relationship between ICD-10-CM and CPT codes.
  2. Summarize how to select appropriate codes for preventative and E/M visits.
  3. Define how RVUs are generated and applied to practice.
  4. Discuss how HEDIS measures are applied to assess performance and health care quality.
  5. Describe how coding impacts quality measure reporting.
