Topic: "Billing and coding, measures and metrics: A few business basics"
Objectives: At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:
- Explain the relationship between ICD-10-CM and CPT codes.
- Summarize how to select appropriate codes for preventative and E/M visits.
- Define how RVUs are generated and applied to practice.
- Discuss how HEDIS measures are applied to assess performance and health care quality.
- Describe how coding impacts quality measure reporting.
