Topic: Clinical Genetic Testing: Recent Advances and Practical Implications
Objectives: At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:
- Review genetic testing options for the pediatric population.
- Summarize the cost of each test reviewed.
- Discuss the guidelines for testing in the outpatient versus inpatient setting.
- Discuss the future of genetic testing.
- Analyze trends in Florida relating to research and legislation affecting genetic testing.
