About David O Childers
David O. Childers, M.D., is a University of Florida associate professor of pediatrics and a board-certified pediatrician specializing in neurodevelopmental disabilities and developmental-behavioral pediatrics at UF Health in Jacksonville. He also serves as the medical director of the Early Steps Program in Jacksonville. He received his medical degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He completed a pediatrics residency at Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, in Portsmouth, Virginia, as well as a fellowship in neurodevelopmental disabilities at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
