About Karen A Cuttin

Karen Cuttin, MD, is a University of Florida assistant professor of pediatrics and a general pediatrician at UF Health Family Medicine and Pediatrics – Nocatee. She is originally from Caracas, Venezuela, but calls Jacksonville home.

Dr. Cuttin received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her general pediatrics residency training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In addition to her residency, Dr. Cuttin completed an intramural research training award fellowship program at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

She is passionate about providing high-quality care for all children, following her medical school’s mantra of “providing exceptional care without exception.” Dr. Cuttin chose to pursue a career in primary care because she enjoys building long-term bonds with patients and their families, addressing complex medical and social needs, and providing preventive, patient-centered care. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Outside of work, Dr. Cuttin enjoys spending her time outside hiking or going to the beach, cooking new recipes, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
