James Joyner, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician with over 20 years of serving the Jacksonville community. He has primary care and emergency medician experience. Whether you have an illness or just want to talk to a doctor about your health and wellness, Dr. Joyner is here for you. He will listen to understand you and your child, so they get compassionate, personalized care for their physical, mental and emotional health.

Dr. Joyner completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Berkeley. He graduated with his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He then completed his pediatric residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.

Dr. Joyner is dedicated to serving the community by providing comprehensive care to children of all ages. Outside of his practice, he finds joy in traveling, exploring nature trails, and rooting for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Dr. Joyner’s warm, down-to-earth approach ensures his young patients and their families always feel supported on their health journey.
