About Nicholas Preziosi
Pediatrician Nicholas Preziosi, MD, is passionate about helping children grow, thrive and stay healthy. His interest in pediatrics began at an early age while accompanying his father, a neonatologist, to the hospital to see the premature and critically ill babies in his care. Inspired by his father’s dedication to caring for children, Dr. Preziosi pursued a career in pediatrics. His three younger siblings also followed their father into medicine, making caring for others a true family tradition.
Dr. Preziosi enjoys caring for children of all ages and has special clinical interests in premature babies and children with complex medical conditions. Dr. Preziosi believes children are capable, resilient and deserving of the opportunity to be themselves.
His approach to care focuses on understanding when children need support or intervention while avoiding unnecessary medications and procedures whenever possible. When a child or family has a concern, he works closely with them to understand the underlying issue and develop an appropriate care plan.
