Suwarna Tilak, MBBS (MD), DABOM, DipABLM, FAAP

Suwarna Tilak, MBBS (MD), DABOM, DipABLM, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician who is passionate about promoting a healthy lifestyle from infancy to support healthy weight and mental well-being. Her efforts are focused on empowering parents and patients to build a foundation for happiness and long-term health. She has a special interest and training in autism assessment, culinary medicine, lifestyle medicine, and obesity medicine.

Dr. Tilak’s pediatric education includes an internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and a residency in the University of Minnesota Department of Pediatrics.

She has worked in maternal and child health in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm before pursuing her pediatric education in the United States. She went on to establish a thriving general pediatrics practice as a medical director, focusing on community and preventive health.

Dr. Tilak is fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi. She is excited to be a part of UF Health, providing clinical care and contributing to research and education.
