Pediatric Genetics Pamela L. Trapane, M.D. Chief Welcome to the division of pediatric genetics in the department of pediatrics at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. Pediatric genetics is a consultative service that provides clinical evaluation, diagnostic testing, genetic counseling and collaborative medical management for patients with known or suspected genetic conditions. Patient Care Our team includes board-certified pediatric geneticists, advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), certified genetic counselors, a registered dietitian, a registered nurse and other support staff who provide comprehensive and compassionate care management to children and families who are referred to our program.
