Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System The Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS) at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville is one of six university-affiliated programs in the state. The mission of this program is to support the Florida school districts of Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau and St. Johns counties. We provide evaluations to children who are struggling in school and have complex medical, social, emotional, and/or behavioral needs. UF-FDLRS Jacksonville strives to achieve the goal of increased academic achievement and high school graduation. The program serves individuals from ages 3 to 22, who have not yet completed high school. The services are provided under a grant of both state and federal funds from the Florida DOE Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (BEESS), to the UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville, and are available to eligible state residents at no cost to the families. The UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville FDLRS team is also available to provide trainings and presentations to parents, educators, and health care professionals. Please contact us to find out more about the trainings we can provide. For more information, contact the UF FDLRS Center at (904) 633-0770.
