Monthly HIV/AIDS Grand Rounds Series

UF CARES is pleased to offer the HIV/AIDS Grand Rounds, held on the third Monday of each month from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM at UF CARES, 910 North Jefferson Street, Jacksonville, FL 32209. This monthly lecture series features premier experts in HIV/AIDS treatment, services, and interventions, offering invaluable insights into the latest advancements in the field.

Participants can earn CME and CEU credits while engaging with thought-leaders on critical topics that drive progress in HIV care and suppression. These sessions are designed to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to improve patient care and stay at the forefront of HIV research and clinical practice. Attendees are welcome in person or virtually.

Internships and Student Observation Opportunities

UF CARES offers valuable internship and student observation opportunities for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the field of HIV care and pediatrics at UF CARES and/or Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital. These experiences provide students and interns with exposure to a range of clinical services, research projects, and community outreach initiatives, under the mentorship of our expert staff. Our program aims to foster the next generation of healthcare professionals by providing an in-depth understanding of HIV treatment, care, support services, public health, and research. Interested students are encouraged to apply and explore how they can contribute to and learn from our comprehensive HIV care programs.
